Well... since November we've received a handful of phone calls to take kiddos... we've said yes to four, but three of the four placements went to relatives or with siblings right away. We ended up getting our first placement in mid-December, a sibling group of two... 11 month old boy and his 3 year old sister. WOW! Insta-family!
It was a difficult first placement. Along with the trauma of being removed they had colds and ear infections. Poor little guys. :( They stayed with us for three days before a relative was located and they were moved.
We decided that we are done with sibling groups for now... two was a little much to handle for our first placement. We would like to start off with one. :) The right placement will come and we are excited to meet them.
