Well, it's been a long week and it's finally over. On Wednesday we received the pathology reports from the doctor. Dana's cancer is localized and only effects certain parts of the body... which we were told is a good thing. Thursday he had a CAT scan. Today (Friday) we met with the doctor to hear the results of the scan and look at treatment options.
The doctor reviewed the scan and reported no findings of any other cancer in his lymph nodes. The follow up treatment is radiation for 5 days a week for 1 month. He said if there is any undetected cancer cells that weren't caught, that the radiation would kill it all. Dana will also have to have more CAT scans in the future.
We feel an immense sense of relief.

Praise the LORD!!! So glad to hear that the news is so optimistic and favorable! Praying that the radiation goes well and has minimal side effects for Dana.
