Yes, it's not even Thanksgiving yet and we actually put up the Christmas tree already... our first Christmas in the new house. We now have a fireplace to hang our stockings up! Sammy has only chewed off one piece of a branch so far this year. That's progress!
Lately I've been saddened by how often people complain about things. Some people will never realize the joy in the smallest aspects of life and are going to miss out on so much! It's a good time to remember that some people wish they had what you have... even when you think it's something to complain about it. At our house, we have much to be thankful for:
1. Family that we love.
2. Friends that we love. (yes, this includes you house church)
3. Health
4. Freedom
5. Jobs
6. Joy and laughing
7. A place to live
8. Hope
9. Excited anticipation for what is to come!
10. And lots of unmentioned things
And for those wondering about placements, we continue to get phone calls, have said yes, but the placements haven't happened yet for one reason or another. We're hoping it's soon! Stay tuned!
