Refreshing

I think all of us have friends that have altered our lives and changed us for the better. A friend that you don't see for months at a time and when you do meet it's as though no time has passed. A friend that transcends the changes and circumstances of life. Someone that accepts you no matter what, faults and all. One that truly cares about your heart's passion and desires the best for you in life. Due to your history together they just know who you are and how you think.

They are the people that walk through the extremes of life with you... loving and supporting all the way. A person who is real, not putting on a facade that everything is perfect. The friend that laughs to the point of tears with you.

As we get older the times we get to spend with these people becomes fewer and far between... but the times that we do get together refresh our souls. My heart is full.
